About The Adams/Chiles Family
Updated 10/12/2017

I have tried to document a large portion of my evidence and I believe that the information on this
website to be true to the best of my knowledge. This family history has been in development
since 1991 and it will continue to change and grow. I take responsibility for any errors.

You will find fragments of information on some of the individuals (in the notes section) that has
helped me develop a picture of their life. At least 75% of the names, dates and information in this
database has been gleamed from "A Genealogical History of Henry Adams of Braintree, Mass. And His
Descendants," compiled and edited by Andrew N. Adams, and published by the author in 1898.

Rules I live by when researching my genealogy:
1. Always check sources when available.
2. You cannot just look at the facts - you must look at the time period, the history of the place
where they lived, their jobs, etc. These are all the things that will help us know our ancestors.

Feel free to email me with any discrepancies that you come across and we can compare sources. I am
very open to new sources and ideas. I will also help with any request or look ups you may need.

This site is updated with additions and changes about once a month.

My other site is: Pages include some descendants for: President John
Adams, The Pilgrim William White, John Fobes/Forbes of Duxbury, John Chiles, and Lawrence and
Cassandra Southwick.

Best Regards,

Myra Adams Chiles

NOTE March 13, 2019: New information has been added to the Pilgrim William White. The name of his
wife is Susanna Jackson. The American Genealogist found this information this year. The name of her
parents have also been found.
